Bonanza Bros. is an arcade game by SEGA featuring two brothers, Robo and Mobo, stealing valuables in Badville to expose their corrupt businesses

Plot[]

BonanzaGoggles

Good evening boys... I've got a job for you that's right up your alley.

The Bonanza Bros, two sibling criminals, receive a client with a request that's right up their alley. They need to steal valuables from many places in Badville as to shine light on their many bad eggs. they need to go to shops, bases, and even a pyramid to do this job, and all in 3 minutes per robbery too.

In other regions, it was changed to them being reformed villains working with the police to test out security, but many things since then have denied this and said that the brothers are thieves..

Gameplay[]

Player 1 is Robo, and player 2 is Mobo. both armed with pop guns, you need to capture all of the treasures in each area and make it to the blimp, all while cops, swats and dogs try to foil you. You can jump as to get onto higher spaces too. If a player gets shot 3 times, they get sent to jail (a game over), but you can continue by using a continue or using a credit (arcade version).

Version Differences[]

  • In the arcade version, the boys scream when shot, but in the Genesis version, they yell shit.
  • The master system port gives the characters a more human skin tone, and some more shading
  • PAL versions call the brothers Mike and Spike
  • The PS2 Remaster (see Sega Classics Collection) improves the graphics and music
